4 out of 5 stars This requires AAA batteries not AA   September 5, 2010
Just to let any one know I bought this for my little sister and ordered AA batteries at the same time. However the actual packaging says you need AAA batteries!

1 out of 5 stars Disappointing   July 5, 2010
David Messer
My Life Portable Console Virtual Life SimulatorTwo of the My Life portable consoles were ordered for my grandchildren, girls aged 7 and 9, and they arrived by post surprisingly quickly. One is still being enjoyed; the other stopped functioning after a couple of hours and has since resisted all attempts to get it to work.

The seven-year-old user was naturally saddened. She is not violent with her playthings. The console may [or may not] have been dropped on a carpeted floor, but this should be anticipated by the manufacturer and the toy made durable enough to withstand, perhaps, falling from a chair on to the floor without ending its useful life.

Overall reaction - disappointing and certainly not recommended.

Both children have received two My Meebas toys from the same manufacturer and they all continue to function perfectly.

5 out of 5 stars Quite good   February 10, 2010
I got this toy with my christmas money and I did play for ages on it. It gets a bit boring after a while, however, as you only do the same things again and again. Also you have a strict timetable, and I found this a little boring after a while. But it is great fun.

3 out of 5 stars Good if only extra's were more readily available.   January 28, 2010

Bought this for my Daughters 7th Birthday & she loves it, as she loves girlie things, clothes etc & is dead easy to use & simple enough language that she can read it herself.
Getting hold of the games for this machine is another issue. It doesn't tell you on the box that you have to buy the games seperate & hardly anyone stocks them even though they sell the console?? I have even contacted Flair themselves who were of no help & they are the major stockists of this item!!My Life Portable Console Virtual Life Simulator

1 out of 5 stars don't waste your money   January 24, 2010

If it was possible to give no stars for this product then I would have. It's an utterly useless toy that Amazon should be ashamed to be selling. That fact that it came with extra pieces of paper showing you how to get out of certain rooms within the virtual game just says it all and having to reset the game when you do get stuck, only to get stuck again 5 minutes later is frustrating to even the most patient of 5 year olds. Not that patience is one of my daughter's strong points. I'm just glad I didn't pay the full price for it and have wasted even more money.
