 Ruined the product July 30, 2010

Having upgraded from Elements 4, I was expecting a great product but this has become very difficult to work with and highly annoying if wishing to do a bit more with the photo editing. Full screen and then zooming in seems to be sooo tricky. Some features are good but overall this has been ruined as is now more aimed at someone who wants to organise there photos than actually editing them. If I wanted to organise my photos then I would just create a folder on my computer and stick them in it under a name.
I didn't need all this photo organising nonsense that is within this product. I thought this product is meant to be a cheaper version of the Photoshop CS2/3 but with less features but has moved further away than ever from a photo editing product than ever before.
If wishing to photo edit - save up enough money to get the full photoshop editing product of CS2/3 as you will be very happy and you will feel like this one has been designed for school kids.

Simply AMAZING!
This is SO much better than Elements 3!
I can fix up photos properly and fully with 5 or 6 clicks on the Auto buttons. . . GREAT - no more sliders!
You can use the standard full editor in this, but I prefer to use all the auto options!
Very good organiser! Tags, catalogs, and more, very easily accessible!
All in all an excellent piece of software as we have come to expect from Adobe.

Pleased with the editorial features but expected more breadth of content for the recommended price. The special price I paid was fair but I feel Adobe are charging far too much for this product.

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 through Amazon UK from Graphics-Software-Express and their delivery lived up to expectations, i.e. very good.
Unfortunately, 30 days after installing and registering the software I received a message from Adobe telling me that I had a unauthorised copy as the software with the same product Key had already been installed on two other computers. The software had arrived in a shrink-wrapped case and appeared to be genuine but obviously wasn't.
I contacted the seller, Graphics-Software-Express, through Amazon asking for either an explanation or a refund. The seller decided very quickly to offer a full refund and a weak excuse that someone must have "stolen" the Product Key!! This unlikely excuse may have been believable if the software had only been loaded onto one other PC but certainly not two!
Amazon's reaction to the problem was very good and they have kept me updated on the sellers actions, i.e. the refund
The software is good and offers a number of options for storing and editing photographs but the whole experience has been marred by the "unusual" selling techniques of the seller.
