This is Amy Macdonald'follow up album to her first masterpiece(THIS IS THE LIFE)I thought it would be inpossible to follow up that album with another great album,but how wrong i was.(A CURIOUS THING)has some great tunes on it.The first track (Don't Tell Me That It's Over)is a good starter to this fine album, follwed up by(SPARK) then into what i think will be another Singles hit, if released 4th track(LOVE LOVE) If you have (THIS IS THE LIFE) you will love this album too.IT ROCK's

I am a huge fan of Amy's work, she never lets you down. I have the CD & my daughter has put it onto my I-pod. The problem was that I never got past the first couple of tracks before I was asleep! Thankfully I got to hear the album all the was through when we were stuck in traffic on the motorway at the weekend -- thank you M25!! I have a final wish that I see Amy live. Crossed fingers!!

Sorry to say this but this is not as good as This is the Life.
There are a few good songs but in general it lacks the bite and energy of This is the life , It almost sounds over produced and takes away some of Amys rawness which made Life so good.
Go back to basics.

Brilliant, bought this CD because I loved her previous attempt with This is the life. This one is even better, such a great songwriter. Lyrics are very mature for someone so young. I'm not really in to folk rock but this one hits the spot. Grew up on glam rock and then the soft rock type of stuff
