This has to be my most favourite CD I have ever owned. Right from the start of the first track you know you're on to a winner. Amy should be up high on the best singers rating. I think I'm going to wear out my CD too!!

What a year Scottish song bird Amy MacDonald has had with the release of her excellent debut album 'This is the Life' and rightly so. Her unique, mature vocals and song writing prowess have captured the public's imagination as well as the big noises at Radio 2 who have repeatedly ensured her single releases are scheduled on their 'A list' for air play. This is the life is her fourth release and Amy delivers a fast-paced feel-good vocal with a delicious punchy hook and chorus.This is foot tapping stuff at it's best. I hope Amy MacDonald becomes a massive success and a global phenonoma, much like The Proclaimers and K T Tunstall. She's a down to earth, unassuming gal and is incredibly talented and that's probably her appeal. Don't change Amy, stay the same and you'll be around for a long time.
